As many of you will have seen recently, the FM Community has really pulled together when it comes to modding Football Manager 26. This was brought to light by BassyBoy who found a way to automatically replace ALL NewGen faces both Male & Female as soon as they are generated in game!

This year has seen a shift in how NewGens work. There is now a base of around 7k pre determined faces per gender, which this file now replaces with FMUGen Faces! To do this you will need to download the file CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD .

Once downloaded, before closing FM down go to: Settings>Preferences>Detailed>

Audio & Visual and ensure the boxes shown below are both ticked.

Confirm and close the game down. (if the game is open you wont be able to replace the file)

Next, navigate to your FM26 installation folder the file path (depending on what drive you installed the game on) will be:[DRIVE]\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64

Once in the folder, find the file named ui-newgen-portraits_assets_all.bundle copy it somewhere safe so you have a backup of the original file.

Now drop the downloaded file in \Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64 to replace it.

That’s it done! You may need to restart FM a few times but the faces will now auto populate for all NewGens when they enter the game. There are some instances where the 3D match engine player may not reflect the 2D image assigned, this is something SI are aware of and should be resolved at some point.
